Crisis Response International team visited Camp Maximum this weekend. Twelve team members from the U.S. are now serving in Ukraine in different capacities. They come from different parts of the country to serve and support those in greatest need. I believe this is their 3rd group visiting Ukraine since the war started.
CRI is a 501(c)3, charitable organization that mobilizes emergency relief supplies, volunteer workers, mobile kitchens, medical personnel, chaplains, and clean-up crews to assist people who are suffering in times of crisis and disaster.
Misha Vakhtomin, who now serves in many different roles at the camp, was instrumental in finding ways for CRI to come alongside the work we do at Camp Maximum. The next team arrives in June. We are expecting 6 CRI team members to join us for a week. They will help:
- Pack and distribute the food boxes
- Visit the wounded and traumatized in the hospitals
- Connect, pray and bring help for the refugee families in the area
- Serve in other roles
