At Shepherd’s Foundation and Camp Maximum, we recognize the immense challenges faced by disabled individuals and their families on a daily basis. For this reason, we have dedicated ourselves to providing unique camping experiences that cater to the specific needs of disabled youth, adults, and families.
We understand that traditional camping activities can be challenging or even impossible for those with disabilities, and we have adapted our programming to ensure that everyone can participate in a safe and supportive environment.
Our team takes great pride in the extreme activities we offer, which have been carefully modified to accommodate a wide range of disabilities. At the same time, we are always mindful of safety, ensuring that our activities are tailored to each participant’s abilities and needs.
For many disabled individuals, their families, and their caregivers, it can be a struggle to find meaningful support and resources. That’s why we have made it our mission to minister to the parents, spouses, and caregivers who often feel neglected.
