Changing Lives
Since 1993, Shepherd’s Foundation has been committed to supporting communities in Ukraine through its various outreach programs. The foundation recognizes the tremendous importance of working together within these communities, and has made it a priority to engage with its members and develop meaningful relationships.
Shepherd’s Foundation has made a significant impact on the lives of many in Ukraine. Not only does the foundation provide essential services and resources, but it also fosters a sense of community spirit that strengthens these neighborhoods from the inside out.
By supporting the ongoing efforts of Shepherd’s Foundation, we can all help to extend a helping hand to those in need.
Who We Are
Since its establishment in 1993, Shepherd’s Foundation has been committed to supporting communities in Ukraine through short term mission trips, medical supply donations, and camp ministry.
Our Mission
Shepherd’s Foundation focuses on Christ-centered, socially relevant, measurable, sustainable, and reproducible ministries that have a lasting effect on individuals and community partners in Ukraine.
Our Vision
To enrich the lives of individuals and communities in Ukraine through spiritual growth and encouragement.
Our Values
Love, trust, respect, integrity, accountability, persistence, responsibility, honesty.
The Lord is Our Shepherd
Since, then you have been raised with Christ set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
Colossians 3:1-7
Our Ministries
Supporting the local communities and youth of Ukraine.
Camps & Retreats
Camp Maximum offers year round opportunities for camping and retreats. These escapes from the pressures of the world provide enriching experiences for children, adults, and families.
Disability Ministries
Shepherd’s Foundation and Camp Maximum are the pioneers in developing focused camps for disabled youth, adults, and families. Our extreme activities have been modified for disabled children and adults, and our team works hard to minister to the parents, spouses, and caregivers who often are neglected.
WAR VETERANS & TRAUMA HEALING
Ukraine was attacked by Russia in 2014 and again in 2022. We support war veterans and their families providing rehabilitation, education and life transforming programs through outdoor adventure and family retreats.
Educational Partnerships
We have already developed educational partnerships from elementary schools to universities that connect professionals, support faculty exchanges and offer internship opportunities. Our commitment to education is an essential part of every Shepherd’s Foundation/ Camp Maximum outreach.
Sports
Our sports platform is uniquely positioned to serve international organizations like FCA in reaching coaches and athletes for Jesus in Ukraine. Up to 170 athletes can enjoy a weekend with motivational speakers, great food, and collegiate sized basketball courts.

What People Say
A few words from our supporters.
Elena Evans
Volunteer
"This was my first trip to Ukraine! Wonderful time traveling to Europe, learning new cultures, traditions, serving together with people from other parts of the world and being able to share faith with campers and staff at Camp Maximum. Time I will never forget! The mission ended up better than I could have envisioned! A very memorable, professional, and spiritual journey for me!"
Ashley Lapenta
Programs Coordinator
"I traveled to Ukraine to help develop programing and processes for the new Christian Camp site the local team was just starting to build. I lived and served in Zolotonosha for six months! A rewarding experience I will cherish for the rest of my life. This was not easy, but I would definitely do it again. Love Ukraine and my dear friends in Zolo!"
Kyle Freed
Volunteer
"I iterally could not be happier that I chose to travel on a mission with the Shepherd's Foundation! Through serving and sharing my faith in Ukraine I discovered deeper relationships and a sense of God's presence in my life. This is something you only come to understand when you serve abroad."
